Drivers arrive at Rallyschool Meeting Point - Sign on, refreshments, helmet fitting
Briefing by your MSA Licensed Instructor
Rally Driving Sessions 1, 2 & 3
Power slide around hundreds of corners with dozens of chances to practice your handbrake turns!
Debrief and Presentation of Certificate
On your first few laps you’ll get used to how a real rally car feels on the slippery, twisty rally special stage. As you start to get quicker, the corners that come flying relentlessly towards you in the first session will slow down, as you control great power slides from one to the next.
And then there’s the elusive handbrake turn – co-ordinating six things in little more than a second is a tough task! There are plenty of chances to practice though and everybody completes at least one perfectly. When they do, for a fleeting moment, they feel like a World Rally Champion!
Your Motorsport UK Licensed Rally Driving Instructor will really encourage you to explore your own limits as you scrabble for grip through hundreds of corners. It’s a truly ‘mind-blowing’ experience that will make you sweat, make you shake and make you smile!
Please allow up to 5hrs at the venue.
Safety helmet & helmet liner with Instructor to Driver communication are provided.
Spectators are welcome to attend and must be booked in advance with the venue. There is a charge of £5 per guest that includes lunch & refreshments. Our rally special stage can be viewed from the rally service area, great for taking videos and still photography.
We’ve never cancelled a rally school due to adverse weather. However, as we operate on an aerodrome we do recommend drivers come prepared with warm clothing to keep the chill of whilst they’re not driving.
A Declaration of Indemnity must be signed by drivers & spectators. A parent or guardians signature is required for participants under the age of 18 years.
